WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE

You have are here at an important moment. On 16th April 15, the Jolly Boys Adventure Club meets for its 100th Adventure.

In the three and a half years since its foundation, in the face of some daunting weather conditions and numerous challenges, the club has continued to push the boundaries of exploration in its chosen territories. Although several of the mountains of Somerset remain unclimbed, the numbers are reducing. The club’s second geo-cache was launched last week to high praise. Campaigns to eliminate wobbly cafe tables and promote fresh scones continue to make headway. We enter our second century with great confidence and enthusiasm.

OUR AREAS OF INTEREST

Our adventures have seen us taking interest in a wide range of things - Everything is interesting!

A MESSAGE

JB1 - Ever since that woman at Fyne Court asked for our Website address, I have thought, well, why not? It has been a long time coming and is barely started but the recent release of .club as a usable of website address opened the door.

I don’t yet understand much of the technology, (not least yet, how to publish this) and we need to discuss what should be in the public domain but the 100th seems to be a moment where we should take it on into the modern era!

You will baulk if I dedicate this to you but we have had many super days & I am looking forward to the next 100

OUR ADVENTURES

The day on Crook Peak remains one of the highlights of the JBAC adventures. It was sunny, bright, dry and uncrowded. We even found someone who could take a half decent photograph.

A magical day
